Etna — Sicily

Where else can you ski on an active volcano?

Skiing on Etna means experiencing a constant and spectacular contrast: the dazzling white of the snow, the deep black of the lava, and the blue of the sky and the sea.

Toward the summit rises the majestic Northeast Crater, towering up to 3,330 meters. Down below, the view opens onto the foothill landscape: the pine forest of Linguaglossa in the foreground and, in the distance, the sea along the coast from Giarre to Taormina, stretching all the way to Calabria.
